Looking Back at A Star is Born

I was originally booked for four days to work with Lady Gaga and the band on something for a movie. Somehow, those four days turned into two years.
I became completely absorbed in the project. The work kept growing, the ideas kept coming, and so did my involvement, eventually leading to becoming a producer on the album.
A lot happened during those two years. I worked with incredible people, had experiences I’ll never forget, and got to do things I had hoped for throughout my career. Then we watched something we had spent so much time and energy making connect with people all over the world in a way none of us could have predicted.
The recognition that followed was extraordinary, and I’ll always be grateful for it. But looking back on A Star is Born today, what I remember most is everything that happened before any of that. The work, the people, the moments along the way, and just how much I loved being part of it.
It’s amazing to think that something that became such a big part of my life started with four days on the calendar.
Happy anniversary, A Star is Born.
