Build a Garden
Fresh off the relationships built during working together on A Star Is Born, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real asked me to work on their next album. The momentum we had as friends made for a seamless and incredible experience of recording and mixing all of these songs in one week. We even had the pleasure of hosting Neil Young at our sessions to hang and to record. It was a great week and a great example of everyone in the room trusting their instincts and bringing joy and imagination to the table without any overthinking or goal other than to make great-sounding, great-feeling records.
